Responsible for hiring, training, planning/scheduling, implementing and managing the activities of a high volume installation workforce in certain territories. RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities and duties of this position include the following:
  • Develop, manage, and maintain an effective national installation workforce through networking, recruiting, training, motivation and coaching techniques.
  •  Hire, onboard and train installers, ensuring familiarity with Metwest products and training of product skills and the Metwest “way” of servicing our clients.
  • Schedule installers on projects
  •  Ensure quality and consistency of installation activities and manage client expectations
  • Work with project management,production, and sales force to meet deadlines, quality standards and profitability goals for project
  •  Track and record weekly/monthly installation service activity and results
  •  Conduct meetings monthly with team.
  • Help establish and communicate current installation policies and procedures and techniques and demonstrate new products and services.
  • Ensure adherence to contract specifications
  • Review and approve installer pay sheets, expense reports, mileage, and other forms of compensation Assure accurate shipping and return of film for inventory management purposes
  • Some individual installation, as needed
  • Extensive knowledge of installation processes
  • Knowledge of film material, glass, design
  • Experience with weeding and production is a plus
  • 5+ years experience as an individual installer
  • 1-3 years supervisory experience
  • Background should include the ability to successfully handle multiple challenges at once, be able to
  • prioritize responsibilities and effectively lead a team
  • Estimated travel is estimated to be 4-5 days per month or approximately 20%. (There will be some travel
  • involved with the hiring and training of installers, and some travel involved with the oversite of projects.)
