MetWest was tasked by Kearny Real Estate to refresh the exterior appearance of two Class A office buildings located at 3100 and 3130 South Harbor Boulevard in Santa Ana, California. The project aimed to modernize the property and make it more attractive to potential tenants in the competitive Southern California real estate market.
The building refresh included the installation of three Belbien architectural finishes – woodgrain, gray, and white. These materials were custom cut to partially cover the glass in accent stripe designs, adding an extra level of modernization and improving the buildings’ curb appeal.
The installation process was tricky due to the complex architecture of the buildings with varying depths, nine rows of glass, and five floors. All materials had to be precut for the installers, who used both a swing stage and boom lift during the installation process.
The final result was an eye-catching and unique refreshed building that stands out on the busy Harbor Blvd in Santa Ana. Kearny Real Estate expressed delight with the outcome of the project. “We are delighted to transform Elevate@Harbor into a refreshed, contemporary, and highly amenitized creative office campus customized to serve the vibrant South Coast Metro market,” said Hoonie Kang, Partner, Kearny Real Estate Company. The refreshed buildings included amenities such as newly furnished creative spec suites, a tenant lounge, a conference center, an indoor/outdoor fitness facility with shower and locker rooms, an on-site café offering outdoor dining, and outdoor games, as well as an electric bike service.
